We are here to help you put your life back together, one piece at a time. 
TLC Support Services have are here to help you and your loved ones reach their potential when faced with Traumatic Brain Injury. We offer Service Coordination, Independent Living Skills Training (ILST), Community Integration Counseling (CIC) and Structure Day Program for those who fall under the New York State TBI Waiver Program. 
Program History: Due to overcrowding in New York State hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, many men and women had been moved to out of State Facilities to meet demands. The TBI Wavier Program was born out of the need to "bring home" some over 900 individuals who had been displaced from family and familiarity as a result.

Working under the New York State Department of Health, TLC's staff of Service Coordinators work to bring people back out into the community as well as defer them from being placed in care facilities by securing the appropriate services for each individual's needs. ​
Our ILST staff work one on one to assess and develop strategies for our clients to help them maximize their independence, while adapting to the challenges they may face in the wake of their injury.

Our Structured Day Program provides greater community access to our clients in a group setting, where they can volunteer, engage in meaningful social relationships, and participate in recreational trips on a regular basis.
